Send It South - Minnesota Radio's Relay for Relief

On, Friday, June 20th radio stations across Minnesota will be broadcasting a radiothon relay to raise money for the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund to benefit flood victims in Iowa and southern Minnesota.

The radio relay will begin in northern Minnesota and end in Iowa. For one hour, each participating market will host a local radiothon and then “send it south” to the next market.

Starting at 7pm the Minnesota Twins will promote the fundraiser to over 70 stations that make up the Minnesota Twins Radio Network.

During these hours listeners are encouraged to call 1-877-711-6111 to donate to help flood victims.

All proceeds benefit the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund to benefit those who were affected by floods in Iowa and Southern Minnesota. The majority of the money raised will go to the hardest hit areas.
